The Mustache's Prayer

Since I'm actually going out tonight and likely won't be watching television, I will leave you with an auspicious Friday night send-off courtesy of my favourite TV P.I., Mr. Tom Selleck.

The Mustache's Prayer

Each and every night I thank the Lord for being kind and fair,
For placing me above the lip of a man so debonair
So dashing and so virile, the women stop and stare,
Lord I am so bless'd to be Tom Selleck's mustache hair.

X-Weighted & How to Find a Husband: a.k.a my first post

You'd think someone as tv-obsessed as myself would be just as tubby as the overweight as the people featured on the hour long television program, X-Weighted on the Canadian network Slice. But I'm not! Well, not yet anyway. I love this show because it's lighthearted and promotes a healthy lifestyle, plus the hosts are so adorably Canadian (Hoser accents and all!). The show also motivates me to not get so fat, and I'm a sucker for before and after reveals. So that's what I'm watching now.

Next on Slice is How to Find a Husband, an equally enjoyable show that makes me feel good about myself. On the show 37 year old Scottish presenter Sally Grey desperately tries every and all possible things to meet a man who will hopefully become her future husband. Thank God I'm
not that desperate yet at 27. I'm consciously fearful, however, that this may be my future in 10 years. I guess better not judge this poor woman too harshly, considering the fact that these two shows are on at a time that a girl my age would likely be either asleep or still out on the town.

And so ends my first post. A bit discombobulated, yes, but I am looking forward to continue channeling accross all my visionary thoughts on my favourite medium: TV! (So punny, I know!)

Enjoy!

It's me!
